[Separation Equipment] WF combined dissolved air flotation
(1) Working principle
The WF type combined air flotation equipment consists of an air flotation tank, a dissolved gas system, a dissolved gas water reflux pipeline, a dissolved gas water release device, a slag scraper, and an electrical control system.
Air flotation mainly plays a role in solid-liquid separation (while reducing COD, BOD, chromaticity, etc.). Add coagulants and flocculants to the raw water, and after an effective flocculation reaction time, the raw water enters the combined air flotation contact area. In the contact area, the microbubbles in the dissolved water adhere to the flocs in the raw water and enter the separation zone together. Under the buoyancy of the bubbles, the flocs and bubbles rise to the liquid surface together, forming scum. The floating slag is hung by a scraper to the sludge area. The clean water in the lower layer flows to the clean water tank through the collection pipe. Some of the clean water flows back for use in the dissolved gas system, while the other part is discharged.
The reflux clean water passes through the jet suction device, and under a certain working pressure, the air dissolves into the water to the greatest extent, becoming dissolved air. The dissolved air is released in the contact area of the air flotation tank through the rapid pressure reduction of the release device, forming a diameter of 5-10 μ M's microbubbles. This microbubble can bond with the flocs in the raw water.

Algae removal and turbidity reduction of lake and river water in water supply as tap water and landscape water.

(1) Working principle
